Connection

Connect a mic name with its screen URL for live speech recognition, translated captions, and OBS/browser output.

  1. Name This Mic

    Choose a mic name for this device or setup.

    ? A name paired with the screen name to save parameters and track usage. Starting the second mic with same mic name will stop the first mic.

  2. Open Screen Page

    Copy this link into OBS Browser Source or open it on another device.

    ? Use this URL in OBS or another browser to display subtitles for the selected mic. Regenerate only if you want to invalidate the old screen link, disconnecting from screen pages using the old link.

  3. Start Recognition

    After the screen page is open, click the Start button at the top.

Language Hints ? Enter the language codes you plan to speak, such as en, ko, ja, or ru. Languages entered earlier are given higher priority.
Audio Cleanup
? Reduces steady background noise before recognition, such as fan noise, room noise, or keyboard noise.
? Automatically adjusts microphone volume, but it may also make background noise louder.
? Reduces playback echo picked up by the microphone. Works best when the sound is coming from the same device.
! Advanced noise suppression uses more CPU and battery, especially on mobile devices.

Premium translation choice

Choose how Premium captions are translated

ChatGPT translation sends caption content to OpenAI.

Recognized caption text, target language codes, and generated translation outputs are sent to OpenAI.

TTTranslator has enabled sharing of API inputs and outputs. This content may be used by OpenAI to develop and improve its services, including improving and training models.

Do not use ChatGPT translation for confidential, sensitive, or personal content unless you have authority to send it.

If you decline, translations use the same browser-based Google translation as Free. Premium recognition continues through the current paid period, and renewal is canceled for the end of that period.
